Mr Michael Linley

Michael Linley is Managing Director at specialist advisory firm BrandCapital International.
Michael is an expert in the role of brands as competitive strategic asset and is an international strategist with 20 years experience leading consulting engagements; the last ten at BrandCapital.
He has led assignments in Europe, Asia, Africa, USA, Australia and New Zealand, building a strong international client base including governments, cities, airlines, banks, insurerance, energy, NSO’s and national defence services.
Initially an analyst with specialist US consulting firm Medcon, before moving to ABN Amro's global leasing division in the UK where as Head of Strategy he led programs including post-merger integration, international market expansion, then moving to work for New York based advisory firm on value creation strategies through brands.
Michael holds a BSc and an MBA in International Business and is currently pursuing his doctoral thesis researching the impact of events on hosting and nations.
